The company was founded by Charles Stuart in Newark, New Jersey, and named after his granddaughter, Sarah Coventry Beale.  Sarah Coventry enjoyed immense popularity during the 1960s and 1970s. Despite its closure, the brand's jewelry remains collectible today, with many enthusiasts valuing the nostalgia and unique designs associated with Sarah Coventry.
